The heart of the Academy is ideally situated in the rolling Umbrian hills outside the medieval town of Assisi, a center of spiritual pilgrimage, the International City of Peace, and birthplace of St. Francis. Across the street is Ananda, an international yoga retreat center that draws thousands of guests from around the world. In ‘Piazza Ananda’ you can often hear at least five languages as you enjoy delicious Italian coffee and pastries.
