In an Intuitive Flow Painting Process the wisdom of your soul is revealed through your own creative expression.

First you will be guided in an Intuitive Flow painting method that allows you to create with freedom and authenticity. 

You will learn how to easily enter a peak state of flowing creative expression. No talent or experience is required.

Lovingly guided into a place of  heightened inner awareness, you will discover that what you bring forth from within is the medicine you need. Working with the images that come forth from within, you will learn the ‘native tongue’ of your own language.

All basic materials will be provided including drawing & paint paper, a small canvas, chalk & oil pastels, tempera and acrylic paint, brushes, painting tools, water bottles & jars, glue, glitter, glitzy accoutrements & more.  Students may also bring or purchase additional supplies.
NOURISHMENT  Our classroom always has an abundance of scrumptious snacks as well as tea & coffee.
MEALS & LODGING  Meals & accommodations are separate.  The Green Hill Cafe provides delicious vegetarian meals.  If you are a guest they are included, if you are coming as a day student you may make advance reservations for lunch or dinner.  Arrangements for meals and accommodations can be made through Ananda Laurelwood 

*This 5 day retreat follows a weekend workshop.  The 5 day course may be taken as an extension of the weekend or on its own.

Dana Lynne Andersen is a multimedia artist, writer, playwright and teacher who has taught and exhibited on three continents. Her paintings have been featured on the covers of books, magazines and calendars. Her artwork, as well as her visionary thinking, has been explored in newspapers, radio and television.

With a Master’s Degree in Consciousness Studies from John F. Kennedy University Dana offers a uniquely expansive and inspiring perspective.  She  is well known as a loving and inspiring teacher, a “Vesuvius of creativity” and as an “important visionary for the consciousness community.”  She is the founder and creative director of The Academy of Art, Creativity & Consciousness with a center near Assisi, Italy as well as on the Laurelwood campus.  A pioneer in the field of Art & Consciousness,  she offers courses in Europe, India and America, as well as a Certification Program in the Transformative Arts Method.

The Ananda Center at Laurelwood  If you stay on campus your weekend will includes delicious vegetarian meals, the serene and natural surroundings of Laurelwood Valley, a boutique with unique gift items, and personal support and attention to insure your weekend is enriching and rejuvenating.
